Mapocho-Trebal wastewater treatment plant

Enlargement of the operative Trebal Wastewater Treatment Station, increasing the treated flow rate from 4.4m³/s to 6.6m³/s. The plant expansion requires the construction of:

• Two primary sludge thickeners
• Three primary clarifiers
• Four secondary clarifiers
• Two secondary sludge thickeners
• Gasometer and flare
• New biological treatment plant
• Cogeneration system capable of producing 3×2700 kW
• Sludge treatment plant
• Sludge digestion area
• Disinfection and output plant
